As I slowly get settled back into routine, I realized I totally blew it with Memory Monday! I think I need to simply start over. Let's see if I still know the first verses I tried to memorize.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,
Heleads makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me to still waters
He restores my soul
He leads medown in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I shall fear no evil for you are with me
your rod and your staff they comfort me
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the day of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,
He
He leads me to still waters
He restores my soul
He leads me
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I shall fear no evil for you are with me
your rod and your staff they comfort me
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the day of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Well, not too bad. This week I will start the Roman Road again with Romans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.
Will you join me by memorizing scripture each week? I am so excited to be starting this again! Joanne at The Simple Wife hosts Memory Monday, visit her blog to find more people participating in Memory Monday or to participate yourself. It really is for your own benefit!
