Our Blessed Chaos

My hubby + a 1st grader + twins in kindergarten + 4 critters..... Yeah it is chaos, but we are blessed!

Today's Verse

This year I really had a struggle with what to do about the Easter Bunny. My preference would be to not have the Easter Bunny at all. However, it ended up out of my hands.

The day before Easter Sunday our church had an Easter Egg Hunt. I do not like to miss out on any church functions so of course we attended.

The kids had so much fun but were then wondering about Easter and had many questions about the Easter Bunny and Jesus. I did the best that I could and finally broke down and embraced the Easter Bunny concept when our neighbors brought them Easter baskets to hide. We explained it to the kids who decided that the Easter Bunny's name was Steve. I have no idea why the only Steve they know is Steve on Blues clues. Anyway, Sam was the first one to get up and was not very impressed when he had to wait for Ben & Carlee to wake up before he was allowed to touch anything.

For Easter dinner we had alot of entertainment when they decided to have a marching band. I don't think I have ever seen a guitar in a marching band, but it didn't matter to them. They played and marched for a long time!
