Storms and Stories

One afternoon there suddenly was quite alot of thunder while we were sitting on the deck. The kids somehow decided that they should hide under the table and I grabbed the camera. I got more than I ever expected to that day.

This first video shows alot, here is what I saw when I watched it:
-first that I don't think my kids know what it means to be scared. They weren't the least bit frightened of the thunder.
-that Ben's brain thinks much faster than his mouth can spit the words out
-Carlee is so cute when she says some words, like "funder"
-when one does something they all have to do it -how quickly things can go from relatively quiet to absolute chaos in a matter of seconds
-and finally, that Daddy needs to have a refesher course with Sam on proper outdoor potty etiquette.

This video shows how Sam can tell a story, lately they are into telling "Spooooky stories". I still am not sure how he knows about Spiderman.

This video shows some of the new storytelling skills. This was the first time we had asked them to do Once upon a time stories and this is what they came up with. I also love how my mom is trying to hide behind the boys so that she won't be in the video haha!!!
